Melinda Sidwell
Looking for any information on Melinda Sidwell who married Peter S. Wood in Fulton Co. Ill in 1824. He is found in Iowa in 1847 married to a Hannah Wood. Their son is William or Warren Steven Wood who married Caroline Udell. Their first child was named Emily Melinda Wood after both their mothers. I have been looking for this grandmother for years, any information would help. Spelling may be Malinda

Re: Sidwell
Hi, I have been looking for a marriage of William Sidwell (bc1791) and his first wife Anne ?, they lived in Pontefract, he was a blacksmith by trade. Anne died c1826, William re-married a year later. Anne or William don't appear to have been born or married in the Pontefract area, so maybe they originated from Dewsbury and thats our connection. Need to check parish registers or can you help with their marriage, or were they were born. Did Harriet have any brothers or sisters?
Hope you can shed some light. Thanks Margaret

Son, b. 1808
Daughter, b. 1811

The three known names interact with my Daniel forbears. The others remain unknown. Does anyone have information on the names of the unknowns, and/or the parentage of Joseph and/or Margaret? I would be delighted to exchange information.
